Hello Logoground,
What about if from sales we will be able withdraw fixed amount, example: If I sold per month items for $1000 we can withdraw $230 or something like this, and keep balance here on Logoground?

Thanks:)

Metrolinevision,

PayPal allows you to keep a balance for as long as three years (after that time, they might send the funds to your state as abandoned property).

But PayPal doesn't pay any interests, so your money is dormant and not working for you. If you want to keep a balance of money anywhere, I would recommend a reliable/profitable investment (e.g., blue chip) or at the very least a low-risk guarantee-investment.

Hope this helps,

Ortega Graphics

Metrolinevision,

Maybe I am missing something. In your example on the opening post, if you can withdraw about a quarter of the funds, then you could withdraw all of it, right?

The topic title and the opening post mentioned withdrawing money; this implied that the user in question had access to PayPal. If the user doesn't have access to PayPal, then yes, LogoGround will be obligated to hold any funds until the user is able to provide a valid PayPal account (a friend's account, a family member account or the user's own account if/when the country status changes).

By the way, for users who are not sure if they can use PayPal in their country, this page might be useful:

Hope this helps,

@Ortega Graphics, PayPal in some countries does not allow you to keep any balance, it has to send every cent to the local bank at the beginning of each month automatically whether you like it or not, sometimes if the amount is considered higher than usual by the country, the local bank wont accept it right away with no specific reason, which makes it a lot of hustle between paypal and the local bank with too much delay without knowing where your money went or when you will have it back. So yeah i wish to have an option of fixed amount as @metrolinevision mentioned, but i would actually wish more for adding another easier payment option such as payoneer.

@MongGE Designs you are right. For example in my country I can withdraw maximum of 500 USD, but I can withdraw 5 times up to 500 USD during one day. So I can withdraw 2500 USD in one day, I just have to do it 5 x 500, which is ridiculous. Maybe it is same for you, you can check in your bank.

@eclipse42 yeah i agree, it can be a solution for me, but as you said it is ridiculous, but actually my real problem is the automatic transfer of paypal, for example, if LG someday was late in transferring money and had to send it on the 1st of the month and the amount was very high, if these circumstances ever got together (which is kind of possible), i would have a really annoying big unfortunate bad problem :D

@MonGE Designs, thank you for the explanation about those special cases. This wasn't clear from the opening post. For those cases, it will definitely be convenient to set an optional maximum monthly limit for the transfer of funds between LogoGround and the designer's PayPal account. On the other hand, have you investigated with PayPal if there is anything you can do to remove any limits set on your account? For example, I would be surprised if a PayPal business accounts would have such a limit.

@Ortega Graphics, I have paypal business account and the limit is still 500 USD per wothdrawal session. Reason for it, by the explanation from paypal, is banking system for a third world country. So even though I live in Europe, in a country that is not in Europian Union, I live in a third world country by banking system for some reason. I got that answer after about 10 e-mails. I think they avoid giving that answer but that is the one I eventually got. To get to solution to that problem I would have to open an account in neighbour country that is in EU to be able to withdraw more money. And some people can do it, because they have two passports, one in my country and other in neighbour country. My country is really complicated and Paypal is sometimes really complicated, so it kind of goes together :)

@Ortega Graphics, If you only know how many calls/messages i made at paypal and how many people i contacted at my local bank, it is a very complicated issue in my country, although many use paypal here. i asked before about business accounts and they said same rules of country applies to both account type because It is a country limit not a paypal account limit. Also what makes it more funny is that the country limit is different from person to person and may also differentiate form time to time.

I really like your idea of having maximum monthly limit for transfer. That would be an excellent solution.

@MonGE Designs, Thank You for Your opinion:) I agree with You, the addition of Payoneer would solve all the above problems.

Hi metrolinevision,

Many thanks for the suggestion. Right now our accounting system isn't set up to do this, but we are always improving stuff and we will keep your suggestion in mind.

I have been speaking with a Payoneer representative about finding a way to plug Payoneer into our existing system. Don't get your hopes up, it's complicated and we have tried and failed before, but I agree that adding Payoneer would be a significant improvement for many designers and we haven't given up.

@Georgy M,
Yes it is good idea, but not tor, because paypal secure system strong, maybe vpn can resolve this problem. But too much risk)

It is definitely not a good idea to pretend you are in a different country than your own and to provide false, inaccurate or misleading information to PayPal. This is explicitly indicated in their terms of service. Furthermore, they have a long list of actions they will take if a user engages in any restricted activities (including taking legal action against the user engaging in restricted activities).

Definitely not worth it.

If you live in USA or in one of a few major western countries you don't know much about PayPal.

Recently my bank changed the owner while account number stayed the same. This simple change left my PayPal account without possibility to withdraw money. PayPal system simply couldn't swallow it. I spent two terrible days trying solve it through PayPal support - in my country and abroad. They couldn't fix it online. They wanted a phone call. They have phone number here but it doesn't answer. So they wanted me to make international calls to Ireland. I can't afford calls like that. When I tried to call them I lost a couple of dollars without even getting through the automatic answer puzzle. Finally some guy felt sorry for me and called me from Ireland. He solved it in 3 minutes. I lost two days doing nothing. but wtri
