You put it on Heraldry category
New uploaded logo is not always shown up in front page. Unless you have more viewer, more like or labeled by admin or can be something else.

Hope that helps buddy...

You now what, I go around like 2 times to explore the all pages. I take my words back. just never mind :).

Let's give the admin to take the action.

what you can do else is report the bug. I'm pretty sure that we have this feature on designer dashboard. Just check it out.

Hello,

Wow. I can't believe nobody noticed this bug before. Thank you for finding this, Antgev.

I did some (partially automated) testing.

Turns out that when looking at the Heraldry category sorted by ranking (default), there are exactly 23 logos missing.
https://www.logoground.com/logos.php?logos=27
Total of 1111 unique logos plus 23 repeated logos, for a total of 1134 shown logos in 19 pages (18.9 pages to be exact). Since there are 23 repeated logos, in this set there are 23 logos missing, including Antgev's logo linked on the opening post of this topic. Here's one example of two repeating logos: Currently on page 5 sorted by ranking, near the middle, you can see two logos with red backgrounds, these two logos are repeated on page 6 (one near the beginning of the page and one near the end).
Archived version of current page 5: http://bit.ly/2USCPYI
Archived version of current page 6: http://bit.ly/2GR6NHD

Interestingly, when sorting by newest logos first, there are zero logos missing and Antgev's logo is on the first page.
https://www.logoground.com/logos.php?logos=27&ob=datehigh
Total of 1134 unique logos in 19 pages (18.9 pages to be exact).

The above numbers could change soon because of new logos added today and/or reshuffling of the algorithm (and this is why I used the Wayback Machine to archive the two example pages above).

In any case, there is definitely a bug within the sorting of the algorithm results.

One more thing to add to the ever-growing to-do list.

Additionally, the forum code continues to convert part of the "currentpage" parameter of a URL to a currency sign (¤) because of the combination of an ampersand and the apparent word "curren" which is treated as an HTML entity (and "tpage" is left behind). This behavior can be seen on one of Antgev's links above. I reported this small bug back in February 2018:
https://www.logoground.com/discuss.php?topic=360

A quick and easy fix for this small bug would be to change the parameter name. Basically, any word listed here should be avoided as a parameter name:
https://www.freeformatter.com/html-entities.html

But I don't know if this would have any impact on SEO, as I don't know if multiple pages are indexed with the currentpage parameter.

Thank you,

Ortega Graphics

Antgev,

As you can see by looking at the numbers, you are not the only one with this issue. Potentially, 2% of all logos are currently not being shown in categories results. And also, potentially, 2% of all logos are currently being shown twice in categories results. When the ranking is reshuffled (recalculated), some of the logos will move from the shown set to the not-shown set or to the shown-twice set. So, I guess because of this particular bug, there is currently an element of luck.

All you can do is wait for the admins to fix this. Maybe you want to officially report this bug (and don't forget to add a link to this particular topic to make sure they read the additional information I provided above). There is a "report a bug" link at the bottom of every LogoGround page.

Hope this helps,

Ortega Graphics

I made a small change to the code. I did a quick scan of the results and it looks like it might be fixed. Antgev, your logo is on page 5, more or less in the middle.

I'll continue to test, just to confirm everything is working like it should. Let me know if you guys see any remaining problems.

André,

Thank you for this quick fix. I can confirm that currently that particular category is showing 1135 unique logos when sorted by ranking (one additional heraldry logo since the latest batch of approvals).

Since the algorithm is generalized, we can assume that this fix also fixed all other categories and thus there's no need to test other categories. Right?

One more thing, please add the aforementioned currency-sign minor bug to the ever-growing to-do list. Definitely not a priority, but it would be nice to fix this minor bug.

Thanks again,

Ortega Graphics

Correct, not necessary to test in other categories. The fix is to the underlying query so if this category is fixed, the others will be too.

Changing URL's is always a little risky for SEO, especially when the change will apply to tons of pages as in this case. As far as I know all or most of our URL's with the "currentpage" variable are noindexed anyway so it may not be a problem to change it. Added to the to-do list, but I can't promise that it will be done. When we get to it on the to-do list we will first try to assess the potential impact.

Hello André,

Concerning the currency-sign minor bug, looking at the code, I noticed that the URL itself is perfect, so the issue is not the href attribute value, but the content between the tags (the plain text which is displayed). Therefore, there is no need to change the actual URL, but simply the way the PHP code generates the the content between the tags within the HTML code. It should be a fairly easy fix, but again, definitely not a priority. So far, we have seen a currency-sign in the forum about once a year.

Thank you,

Ortega Graphics
