If you are asking about a declined logo:

Start by reading this help page: www.logoground.com/get-logos-approved.php

If you can't find your answer there and you want to hear what others think of your logo, upload a preview of the logo to your own site or to a file host like imgur.com. Then start a new topic (or reply here) and provide a link to that file so that everyone may see the logo.

Please keep an open mind as you are likely to receive honest feedback here. If you are posting your comments on someone else's work, please keep it constructive.

Hi mateudjumhari. We unfortunately do not yet have an edit function for declined logos so re-uploading is the only way to edit it.

one logo was declined and I understood that one as it was a certain shape, but 2 of my logos were declined because it said it was "being sold" somewhere else. I am certain it isn't being sold somewhere else, unless someone is trying to sell my work! but I am displaying them in my portfolio. Is it not ok to show them in your portfolio? The rules seem to state that you can. If you found my logos being sold somewhere else without my knowledge, it would be nice to see where you found them to so I can put a stop to it.

Hi Amanda,

When you upload a logo to LogoGround it must not be shown anywhere else on the Internet whether it is offered for sale or in a portfolio. In your case we found the logos in a Behance portfolio that appears to be your own. It is time consuming and sometimes impossible for us to determine if the logos you uploaded were copied from someone else's portfolio or if they are your own so there is a real risk of having your LogoGround account suspended, hence the rule.

The rule is: It must be impossible for us to find the logo anywhere else on the Web. Once a logo is approved on LogoGround you may upload it to your portfolio on another site.

Sorry if this was not clear. If you found something on LogoGround that says that it is OK to have the logo in a portfolio on another site please post a link to the page.

Hello,

Okay, that makes sense. I think what confused me was this:

Logo Copyright
You retain the copyright to all your logos until they are sold. The copyright transfers to the buyer as soon as payment clears. You may not continue to use that logo or resell it as a pre-designed logo on another site. Doing so would be a copyright violation in the same way that stealing another designer's logo is a copyright violation.

Portfolio Use
You and LogoGround both have the right to show sold logos in our portfolios of past work, without limitation, provided that we do not offer it for sale. When your logo is shown as part of LogoGround's portfolio, the logo will be properly attributed to you.

Because if I retain my copyright until sold for my logo and I can show logos in my portfolio after they are sold, I basically thought it was fine to have them in my portfolio while I am trying to sell them. So do I retain the right to show in my portfolio after sold but not before? My portfolio on behance and dribbble are under my name though, so there is obviously no way that I am copying it from someone else, unless the design is very similar to something someone else made, which it is not because it is a 100% original, unique design that you won't find somewhere else.

Thank you,
Amanda

and so if I take the designs off of dribbble and behance, then the logo gets approved on here, then I can post it if I like. Is that correct?

Hi Amanda,

That's right. If you remove the logo from your portfolio to upload it on LogoGround you may put it back in your portfolio once it has been approved here. We know it's a hassle but we (and LogoGround clients) like the assurance that the logos sold here are original creations and we think this is the best way to do it.

Hello,

Okay, thank you for the clarification. That makes sense to me. :)

I wanted to edit and removed from Logoground, after I edited the logos, I again upload into Logoground, but these logos were rejected with the message "Reason: Too like to existing logo"
How can I upload these two logos again?

@sunil1999
I think the reason for the rejection of your logo is "too general"

Hello LogoGround,

I have posted many logos these 2 days but all of them were declined. I don't know the reason. When i click on "denied" button below the image, I see the same reason: "In our opinion, this logo is below the standard that we would like to maintain on LogoGround ..."
This confuses me a lot because I don't know what should I change exactly.

Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

Hi aegon98,

If you would like more specific feedback, the best thing to do is to start a new forum topic and include a link to the logo image. That way everyone can see the logo and give feedback. Receiving honest feedback (and you'll get that here!) can be tough, but I think it is the fastest way to learn.
