Dear admin,

I really love this site to show off my logos for sale, but why I can't access the upload feature for this time? Are there any detailed reasons for me? I think I did not break the rules in this logoground site.

Yesterday I was asked by logoground staff to verify the logo that I uploaded. Because the logo is being sold on another site. here is the link https://www.canstockphoto.com/panda-food-logo-vector-56679271.html

So I'll answer it.

Ok, The "foodpanda" logo is really my original work.

The link below is a proof that the logo was actually made by me in 2017.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BUaDruVg7th/?utm_source=ig_web_options_share_sheet
https://dribbble.com/shots/3666622-Foodpanda-for-illunative

I have never sold this logo on another site.

I am very disappointed because one of my works is being sold as .EPS on another site by someone else. And I also felt a second disappointment because my account couldn't access the upload feature for no reason.

Please for your attention.
Thank you so much!

Illunative,

If the LogoGround admins are not aware of your portfolio accounts elsewhere (Dribbble, Instagram, etc.), then, they can't know if you copied someone else or if someone else copied you. In this case, looking at the dates, it is clear that it is the latter. To avoid this in the future, you should send an email to LogoGround indicating all links to all portfolio sites.

But in any case, before uploading an old design to LogoGround, you should always verify that the design is not being used illegally (Yandex, Google Images and/or TinEye). When/if you find that someone is using one of your old designs illegally, you should follow the instructions found at the beginning of this topic: https://www.logoground.com/discuss.php?topic=54

Even though CanStockPhoto apparently doesn't have a copyright infringement page, they have a take-down notice section near the middle of their Terms & Conditions page, which explains what to do: https://www.canstockphoto.com/terms_conditions.php

LogoGround also has a page with more information about take-down notices, which includes a very useful example letter: https://www.logoground.com/dmca-take-down-example.php

Hope this helps,

Ortega Graphics

Hello Ortega Graphics,

Thank you for your reply, the information that you present is very useful to get to know more about uploading logos in logoground.

I hope the LogoGround admins can provide full clarity about this "account limited" case. I just want full clarity. I want to know how long this policy will last. and much more.

For now I just want to upload a new logo but i can't. :')

Thank you so much !

@Ortega - Can you tell me - do I have to provide all my portfolio links even I do not sell designs on them?

Folker,

Yes, it is definitely a good idea to provide all your portfolio links to the LogoGround admins, as explained here: https://www.logoground.com/logos-on-other-sites.php

Also, from the LogoGround Designer Handbook, Logo Requirements section, New Logo Checklist subsection: "If the logo can be found anywhere else on the Internet (for sale or in a portfolio), please remove it first before uploading it to LogoGround. We check each logo and if we find it on another site it is not always possible or practical for us to determine if the designer is the same person. We must then assume that the logo was copied from someone else's work and ban you from LogoGround. Once your logo is approved on LogoGround you may post it to other sites. If you have a large portfolio of logos on another site and you would like to upload those logos here without removing them from the other site, please contact us first."

And just in case (even if your questions is not about selling elsewhere, this reminder might help others), from the LogoGround Logo Seller (Designer) FAQ: "I'm selling logos somewhere else. Can I sell those same logos here too? Usually, no. We make exceptions to this rule occasionally when a designer has a good track record on LogoGround and specifically request permission to sell on multiple sites. It is very important to us that designers understand the copyright implications and their obligation to remove those logos from LogoGround when they sell elsewhere, so we want to handle this on a case-by-case basis. If you are new to LogoGround, upload only exclusive logos for now. If you have 20+ logos approved and at least one sale, contact us and request that your account be approved for selling on multiple sites."

Hope this helps,

Ortega Graphics

He stole also from other designers (designer knows about it):

Original: https://dribbble.com/shots/3076969-Dog?page=2
Plagiarized: https://www.123rf.com/portfolio/adhevaart/8.html?mediapopup=101264500

This guy don't deserve to publish anymore.

Hi illunative,

Thanks for clarifying. Your account is no longer limited :)

I love that Panda logo and I hope you can get the copies removed and eventually re-upload the logo to LogoGround.

I really would like to know if people actually use images from site 123rf. I mean do they actually have any traffic, etc. I would never use something from there as my company logo, so I am wondering would other people do it...

I am 99% sure he has also an account here: https://stock.adobe.com/nl/contributor/207132823/adhevaart?load_type=author&prev_url=detail&asset_id=193685220

This bird logo (with eye) is not his own logo...
I saw it before:

(also mentioned this topic to the real designer)

@Eclipse42
I am sure there are people on this planet who bought logos there...
If you are not looking further and don't do your homework, then they don't know there 'brand new logo' is in use by many many other people. I think they don't realize that many logos are copied / plagiarized / stolen...

Poor customers...

It is due to those stock sites policies and admins. They have poor control and moderation system. Lot of designers/contributors are fake one. Lot of designs are stolen from Freepik or other free sites and selling on stock. I am not even sure if those logos have exclusivity.
I had couple of issues with my stolen work, some of them never replied, while on the other hand if they would have remove stolen design, their fraud contributor would stay and not being banned.
Just terrible!
Oh... and some of the DMCA... god! It's worse proving it is your logo then this fraud to join them with list of stolen logos.
Similar as on Facebook reviews - It is harder to claim false positive review, than negative.

Like Eclipse wrote, I also wonder if anyone buys logos there.

I do not know... maybe serious designers communities should join and write letter complaints or petitions.

If they had a team of good controllers/admins, then those sites where half as large as they are now. 50% is crap/stole and (yes, also sites like iStock/Shutterstock, etc) many logos are copy-pasted by the same 'designer'. A little bit adjusted and slightly different. A kind of kanibalism...
