I read "Designer Ranking and Achievements" many times, but still don't find how to check my reputation point or my ranking so far.

can Logoground give us a "button" for us to click it whenever we want to check it

Hi Furqontino,

At the moment there isn't a way to check your ranking score. That may change at some point in the future, but we have nothing planned.

@ajleroux Personally, I like the mystery of not knowing the current score, but I think that showing this score would stimulate good competition and effort among designers to overcome them.

Show statistics on our main page and in the "top logo designers" page like: Number of logos in existence, number of sold logos, percentage of sales, ranking score.

This way I will know how many points I need to overcome @SimplePixel Badum tss! XD jajajaj :'v

@ajleroux thanks for the information,
by the way.. if a designer really want to know their reputation, what should they do?

In my opinion, having a visible ranking number is not a good idea.

In early 2016, I visited LogoGround and this was the one thing that discouraged me from joining. Back then, the ranking number was visible in the page that lists all designers. At the time, I read and I understood that the ranking number is not necessarily correlated to the designer's ability, only to their track record on LogoGround. But I remember thinking that clients might not understand this; thus making the number public was a bad idea for me.

Ranking levels were introduced by mid-2016, replacing the actual ranking numbers. For me, it made the website more appealing. Then, when I had some time to create logos, I joined.

Having designers grouped in ranking levels is a better idea than showing the actual ranking numbers, in my opinion. There are many reasons for this, but one of the most important reasons has to do with the LogoGround algorithm. Now that the algorithm plays an important part in how logos are displayed, I truly believe that it is better that the actual ranking number remains a mystery. This way, users don't know exactly how many points are given or taken away from various actions; which is arguably a good thing.

Just my opinion,

Ortega Graphics

Hi guys,

Totally agree with Ortega Graphics, a visible ranking number is a bad idea.

This would be confusing for clients, that confusion will eventually turn into an even bigger advantage for high ranked designers. For the new designers would be discouraging, like fighting a losing battle.

@Sor @Ortega Graphics you are right, it's better to keep it that way :)

There is no way to see the actual score and I agree with the comment from Ortega Graphics above (from 2018) that it is best if it is not shown.

But you can estimate your score by checking your position relative to other designers:
https://www.logoground.com/logo-designers.php

On that page you can assume that the lowest ranking Silver level designer has about 20 reputation points, the lowest ranking Gold designer about 100 and the lowest ranking Platinum designer about 500. If you then assume an equal distribution of designers between the levels you can estimate your score. Genovius, yours would be something like:

Number of points from one level to the next (400 from Gold to Platinum)
Number of Gold level designers: ±120
Your position among them: 19

So your score would be 500 - (400 ÷ 120 x 19), giving a ballpark of 436 points, assuming equal distribution and assuming my math is ok. :)

@ajleroux
I guess your math is correct but I calculated it the long way, it just makes more sense to me:
100+(120-19)x(400/120) which results in 436

And this 400/120 is actually very useful, you can estimate that it's 3.33 points between gold designers (for the time being), so Genovius, try getting approved 4 logos without a decline and see if you can jump through one designer :) If yes, do that at least 17 more times and you are platinum. You will become platinum earlier because you'll have staff favorites, likes, sells, new badges etc, because they contribute to the ranking too.

But this is of course based on equally distributed points, which might be accurate for Gold level. But it's a completely different situation with Platinum. You might progress equally though bottom to the middle, but after that you're stuck in the middle for a longer time (even if your activity is the same). Then you just realize that the point gap is much higher now.

The highest silver level has about 99 points, the highest Gold level designer has about 499 points... But how much does the highest Platinum Level designer has is unknown :) So while you can estimate your points for silver and gold levels, you can't estimate it for Platinum.
